Few sights in Leeds sport match a full house at Headingley on a match night, and in 2025 Leeds Rhinos gave their supporters plenty to cheer. Under head coach Brad Arthur, the club finished fourth in Betfred Super League and reached the play-off eliminators.

The season did not start easily. The Rhinos opened at home against newly promoted Wakefield Trinity on 15 February and lost, but the response was swift, with a 32-6 win on the road at Salford setting the tone for what followed.

Across the campaign the side recorded 19 wins and 11 defeats. Winger Ryan Hall led the try-scoring with 10, while new signing Jake Connor, who joined ahead of the season, finished as top goal-kicker with 72 goals.

There were setbacks along the way. Winger Maika Sivo suffered an ACL injury in pre-season and was ruled out for the whole of 2025, yet the squad adapted and kept pushing towards the top of the table.

The crowds told their own story. The Rhinos played 13 Super League games at AMT Headingley, with an average attendance of 14,999. The biggest crowd of the season, 16,863, came for the visit of Hull Kingston Rovers on 25 April.

Some of the most memorable moments went beyond the scoreline. The club planned a series of themed games for 2025, and the MND Awareness round at Headingley included a tribute to Rob Burrow, whose legacy continues to mean so much to the city and the sport.

For a club with such a proud history, 2025 felt like a season of solid progress, with a settled coach, popular new signings and supporters turning out in numbers week after week.

That bond between team and city is what makes a Rhinos home game special. Whether you are a lifelong fan or a first-time visitor, the atmosphere at Headingley is something to experience at least once.

Fixtures, ticket information and club news are published on the Leeds Rhinos website, where supporters can plan their next trip to Headingley.
